Scott R Chilcutt, Dallas, TX (July 21, 2011) While the Oklahoma Tour spent the weekend at Grand Lake for the Grand Lake Showdown a number of members headed to TPC Sawgrass.
TPC Sawgrass, home of the 2010 Am Tour National Championship was slated for the TPC Sawgrass Open where over 170 players made the call.
RESULTS:
Palmer Flight Flight: Broken Arrow, OK player Allen Sawvel grabbed a top three spot and National Championship Qualification.
Senior Hogan Flight: Bill Copeland from Tulsa followed up 3rd place at the Kingsmill Classic with another show position at a Major to solidify his National Championship Qualification.
Next up, The Oklahoma Tour returns to the central part Oklahoma for the Cowboy Classic in Stillwater on July 31st. The the Dallas Tour makes its way to Tour 18 for the Clash at Tour 18 on July 23rd and then ventures east of the metroplex to Canton Classic at Twin Lakes on July 30th.
